1. What
is this seminar series about?
The
SkillsFuture Series Seminars is a series of short seminars curated by NTU’s
Centre for Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE@NTU) to offer more
options to the public and/or professionals in the relevant industries of the
eight emerging areas under the SkillsFuture Series (http://www.skillsfuture.sg/series)
to update and upgrade their knowledge and skills.
There
will be different themes for these seminars and under each theme will be
various certificate topics. Themes include, but are not limited to: Industry
4.0, Entrepreneurship, and IoT and Data Analytics.
The
current theme is Industry 4.0.
Under
this seminar series, participants will be able to earn a certificate upon
completion of at least two seminars
within a certificate topic.

2. Who
is organising this?
This seminar series is organised by
PaCE@NTU.
PaCE@NTU is currently
working/will be working with partners such as Employment and Employability
Institute (e2i Singapore), NTU Alumni Affairs Office etc., to explore possible
partnerships and come up with more certificates and seminars to expand on the
topics offered.
3. Will I receive a certificate upon completion of each seminar?
An e-Certificates will be awarded to participants who have completed at least two seminars within a certificate topic in 2019.
We will contact you if you are eligible and the certificate will be emailed to your given email address upon your completion of at least 2 seminars within a particular certificate topic.
Note: No hard copy of the certificate will be issued to participants and there are no certificates given for individual seminars.
4. What
are the certificates available?
Participants have to attend at least
2 out of the 3 seminars within the certificate to be awarded.
For the Industry 4.0 series, there are a total of three certificates

5. Where
will the seminars be held?
For Industry 4.0 Seminars
The seminars will be held at Devan Nair Institute for Employment and
Employability, 80 Jurong East St 21, Level 2 Singapore 609607.
Future seminars might be held at
different locations.
6. Do I
need to pay for the seminars?
For Industry 4.0 Seminars
Entry to all seminars are currently complimentary.
7. How
do I sign up/register?
You can find out more about the
seminars, seminar dates, and register for the certificates here.
Do note that signing up/registration
goes by per certificate (i.e. you are entitled to all seminars under the
same certificate topic after the first time you have registered/made payment if
applicable). However, do note that you will still have to register for
subsequent seminars individually for us to keep track of your attendance for
administrative purposes.
